Cross-Country Skiing & Snowshoeing

Tamarack Lodge is home to the Tamarack Cross-Country Ski Center, offering more than 19 miles (30+ kilometers) of groomed trails in the Mammoth Lakes Basin. Guests can explore scenic trails for family adventures or challenging workouts, with rentals, lessons, and guided tours readily available. Private instruction is also offered to enhance skiing skills for both beginners and experienced athletes.

Trail Pass Options

The lodge provides options for both day passes and season passes starting from the 25/26 season, allowing unlimited access to ski trails in the area. Guests can purchase single-day or multi-day trail passes, with discounted rates for afternoon sessions. Special programs, such as Two-fer Tuesdays, provide added value for trail access.

Guided Tours and Events

Tamarack Lodge hosts various guided snowshoe tours, such as the Full Moon Tour and Sunset Tour, allowing guests to experience the stunning beauty of the area under the moonlight. Family-Friendly Activities

Children are encouraged to participate through the Tamarack Gliders program designed for ages 5-10, which uses fun games to introduce skiing basics. Parents can also take advantage of special student rates for trail passes and rentals for Gliders students.

Tamarack Lodge is located just a short drive from Mammoth Lakes, easily accessible via the free shuttle service provided by the ESTA Orange Line. The location grants guests immediate access to the Mammoth Lakes Basin, a site famed for outdoor activities year-round.
